Fire Safety Compliance Checklist
1. Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
  • Fire alarms installed and regularly maintained.
  • Smoke detectors in all required areas (offices, corridors, storerooms, etc.).
  • Audible and visual alarm systems functioning correctly.
  • Systems inspected and tested in accordance with local codes (e.g., quarterly or annually).
2. Fire Suppression Systems
  • Fire extinguishers are installed, properly labeled, and easily accessible.
  • Fire extinguishers inspected monthly and serviced annually.
  • Sprinkler systems installed and tested regularly.
  • Kitchen hood suppression systems in place (if applicable).
3. Emergency Exits and Egress
  • Clearly marked and illuminated exit signs.
  • All exit doors are unobstructed and easily opened.
  • Emergency lighting operational and covers all exit routes.
  • Exit routes comply with width and clearance requirements.
4. Electrical Safety
  • Electrical systems inspected for hazards (e.g., exposed wiring, overloaded circuits).
